Mark Plummer is a third generation plumber with 35 plus years of experience serving customers. He has a wide range of experience in all types of plumbing and specializes in hot water systems.
Mark began working for his father’s plumbing company in Southern California in 1976 learning many aspects of the trade in working on new construction jobs, remodel projects, service calls and managing other employees. Mark obtained his California contractor’s license in 1984 C-36 # 453616
Mark has worked on many different types of projects and service work in Southern California, Central California, Northern California and Oregon as well as this local region.
Mark obtained an Oregon journeyman’s card in 1992 and then an Oregon contractor’s license in 1995 and worked as a service and repair contractor in Oregon for 18 years. He relocated to the Auburn Ca area in 2011
In 2012 Mark started Plummers Repair Only Services and in 2015 changed the official name to PRO Hot Water Service, using an acronym of Plummers Repair Only as PRO and deciding to focus on hot water systems.
With family in the Auburn, Ca region Mark now operates PRO Hot Water Service, serving the western portion of Placer County and the surrounding region
Mark offers his services with the philosophy that that there is a real need for high quality, highly skilled plumbing/hot water system repairs and installations. With skills that are well above the average Mark’s vast experience is many years ahead of the typical plumber. His vast wealth of plumbing knowledge is rare in the field.
Mark offers his services at rates that represent a real value to his customers and he personally performs all the work as well. His company provides free estimates for some jobs and does charge evaluation fees where diagnostic work is needed
With work that will be superior to that of any other plumbing contractor, Mark’s rates are going to be less than the big corporate plumbing contractors (often a lot less). This stems from Mark’s belief that his customers will often pay too much when using a plumber that offers “free estimates”. Often, Mark’s customers will greatly benefit by paying up front for evaluation / diagnostics. Mark will only sell you what you genuinely need and not a whole package just to drive up the total bill.

PRO is here to assist homeowners in addressing any hot water system issue. PRO also addresses some plumbing problems such as leak repairs and more. However we DO NOT offer the following services:
